Devonshire Place is a Grade II listed building situated in a central location within the City Of Leicester. It is licensed to hold Civil Marriage Ceremonies within the Holmes Suite, a classic room with magnificent traditional paintings to give the perfect back drop to your Wedding Ceremony. Your Wedding Day should be one of the happiest days of your life and at Devonshire Place we aim to make it a stress-free day, full of all the right ingredients to make the perfect recipe.
With your own Wedding Co-ordinator assigned to your day, the special attention to detail will not be forgotten and the preparations should be a very exciting experience. From the colour scheme, to the music, the food to the drink, or simply just the ceremony itself, your Wedding Co-ordinator will advise and assist with all the planning and ensure that you go away with very special memories of your day.
To complete your day, our Chefs will be delighted to provide excellent cuisine for your Reception and to tailor-make the wedding breakfast to your requirements - however complex or simple.

Civil Ceremonies/Partnerships are 'Open Door' events and as such the front door must be open until the start of the Ceremony when it will then be closed but not locked. A notice will be placed in the Devonshire Place Reception stating the names of the couple and the time the ceremony will be taking place.

The room rental for a Ceremony is £450.00.
